I’ve got Vectra C 2007 and the ecu is kaput… comes up with Main relay fault and Replace ECU fault. Car wouldn’t start when turn the key although when I put a wire from the main relay to the – terminal on the battery it starts and drives. I bought ECU kit from the same Vectra and I want to change the ECU .

U wouldn’t get a spark cos of the trigger wheel being different.
